*We changed the QR code experience, but changing our Knowledge Base articles to reflect the new platform will take some time. Thanks for your patience.
If you have an app, Phy enables real-time interactive personalization, differentiated content for your app users and everyone else, private content, security filters, multilingual content, and a customizable UI.
Our lightweight software development kit (SDK) can add a fast, image-rich, and secure interface that can discover an internet-of-things network of connected experiences you provide. The SDK can also enhance your app with the ability to "browse" nearby content at QR codes, NFC tags and Bluetooth beacons. These previews of metadata content – called CoverCards – clarify the function of a link and give people a choice of what content to consume. Meanwhile, you learn what people value.
Our RESTful API includes technical documentation and SDKs for nearly every platform. Developer Control is available to Professional Plan customers. Here’s an overview and documentation for the Phy API, as well as a link to our API docs on GitHub.
Finally, we’ve also written a series of tutorials for an Xcode project that incorporates our SDK in an app that will detect Bluetooth beacons. These tutorials were written with Xcode 8.3.3(8E3004b) and Swift 3.0.
If you have programming experience, this series of tutorials will show you how to make a working app that will discover, sort and favorite nearby Physical Web beacons. If you don’t have programming experience, this isn’t the place to learn. Go here instead.
