How to install a PWA (i.e. save it to the home screen)

Installing a PWA is straightforward:

• On iOS, tap the browser “share” icon and then “Add to home screen.” 

                     

• On Android, tap the browser “three dot” icon and then “Install App.” 

Android has other install options. Most Android browsers will recognize a PWA and automatically display an install prompt that will install the app when tapped.

Android also allows you to add an install button anywhere in your PWA and Tapps has an Android install actions you can place in your app.

Apple does not yet support an install button, so the best strategy is to offer timely install directions. Tapps automatically provides install directions when an app is first launched.
