Sometimes the best strategy is to have thousands of unique app or touchpoints that all link to identical or similar versions of the same page. We call these "connected experiences."
For example, if a million printers each have an NFC tag that points to a selection of information useful to users (i.e. support, e-commerce link for ordering supplies, user manual, set-up video, etc.), but if the URL in each NFC tag is unique, then is becomes possible to:
- track product interactions over the life of each individual printer
- personalize content
- track product issues across batch and lot numbers
- contextualize support request by automatically incorporating the model and serial number
- attribute interactions to specific apps
- target recalls
- identify product locations and distribution
The same strategy applies to a large sales staff, where each salesperson can have their own unique digital business card, link and QR code that links to a selection of calls-to-action matching the needs of their clients. The resulting metrics would be tracked at the sales agent level. And interactions with a shared lead form could also be attributed to a specific sales person.
At the same time, updates are centrally managed. An update to a user manual or the support contact form in one place will automatcially update that manual or form in every app.
Our platform is designed to issue these unique IDs and to bulk edit common content across the entire population of IDs.
