Text (SMS) Action

A Text (SMS) Action is an action that automatically launches a text message when tapped.

               

It has two basic modes of operation: Destination and Share

Destination - This mode initiates a text message from the user’s phone to a pre-selected telephone. Use this mode to control the text-to number such as when the messages come back to you or in applications where you want to capture telephone numbers.

Share - This mode initiates a text message but lets the user choose the destination. Use this mode to promote the sharing of this app to friends or associates of the user.

Create a Text (SMS) Action

If destination mode, enter a destination number.

Or check the"Pull from Data Tab"option to cause the Action to pull the phone number from the app's database, located in the app's Data tab.

Optionally, enter a message you want to be pre-populated.
