Adding a Twitter timeline will help keep your app fresh by allowing users to see your latest tweet and to scroll through recent tweets.
You will use the platform's HTML action type to add a Twitter timeline. Below is a link to the Twitter help center with directions for getting the HTML code needed to add a timeline:
The current directions are as follows:
- Go to https://publish.twitter.com/.
- Enter the URL of the timeline or Moment you’d like to embed.
- Customize the design by specifying the height, theme (light or dark), and link color to match your website.
- Copy and paste the code into the HTML action of your app.
After you enter your twitter URL, be sure and choose teh customization option
What's most important here is that you set the height of the window in the app. If you do not set it, then twitter can be several screens in length. Try different heights until you get the look you want, but a height of 400 pixels is a good place to start.
Twitter has a few options such as light or dark background or for the color of the links in the display and you will need to test and see which you like. This may require you to copy and paste the HTML in the app several times.
With the platform's HTML action, you will also be able to add a title to the twitter window and to set the color of the window.
