Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are a new class of application that is a hybrid of a mobile website and a mobile app.
As apps, PWAs work offline and deliver a full-screen user experience but avoid install-friction because they install with a single tap.
As websites, they are optimized for speed, optionally rank with search engines, and are easily shared through social channels.
Because they do both at the same time, they reach larger audiences than either traditional websites or native apps.
Use this platform to easily build custom-branded, multi-action, multi-page apps with robust metrics.

Add subpages up to three layers deep to organize content for better user experiences.
Main page content and subpage images and text are automatically cached on the user's device for offline availability. PDFs and other files are cached at the user's discretion.
Set messages that alert users after they open their app to call attention to new content or desired actions.
Send or schedule notifications that alert subscribed users on their lock screen when they are not using their app. Note: Currently Android supports push notifications for PWAs. Apple has announced plans to support web push beginning in 2023.

For example you can select content to only be available to iOS users that install the app or only users that have entered the security passcode.
Securing an app adds a passcode as a requirement to access an app. A second mode of operation allows access to the app's non-secure content, but requires the passcode to also access the app's secure content.
