File Action

A File Action allows a user to download a file that you upload to the platform. The file may be of any type (pdf, word doc, gif, etc) up to 10 Mb. (We caution against using large files because they can slow your app's load  time.)

After selecting the File Action type, drag and drop or upload the target file.

Or check the"Pull from Data Tab" option to cause the Action to pull the File from the app's database, located in the app's Data tab.

There are three additional options:

Offline mode - Choose if you want the file to be stored on the user's device and available offline. 

Embed on Card - Choose this option if you have an audio file and you want an audio player to appear in your app. 

Secure - Use this option if you want a passcode to be required to access the file. Note that the you must also enable security in the [Security] tab, use the App mode of security, and set a security code.

For PDFs, the app has a built in reader and print function.
