Craft experiences that incentivize users to subscribe to your notifications by using audience filters.
It can be offputing to open an app or website and immeditely see a pop-up subscription request. It's too soon to make that decision and annoying pop-ups can tarnish a brand.
Tapps allows you to integrate your request into the overall user experience and to incentivize subscriptions by showing premium content to those that subscribe. When combined with a notification icon that enables the user to opt-in to subscriptions at any time, and you have all the tools to incentivize push subscriptions at just the right time in the relationship.
The Audience Filter
All Actions have a filter to select which users will see that Action. One filter option is if the user has subscribed to push notifications or not.
If [Push On] is selected, then only push subscribers will see the Action.
If [Push Off] is selected then only users not subscribed to notifications will see the Action.
If [Both] is selected (the default setting), then al users will see the action.
Example uses
- Use a page text Action to integrate into the text of the page a statement such as "Get our most popular recipie every week by tapping the "Bell" icon at the top of the page to subscribibe. It's completely private and you can mute the notifications at any time.) This statement will disappear when a user subscribes.
- Add premium content that is visible only to users that subscribe (e.g., a deal page). Tapping a notification can bring a user directly to this deal page, which will not be visible to non-subscribing users.
