An app ID combined with a domain create a unique URL that identifies an app on our platform. You can choose any alphanumeric string for an ID that is not already in use with your selected domain. An ID must be between 3 and 64 characters.
You can can add your own domain to the platform and you can also choose from a selection of platform domains including: pwa.to, eguide.to, label.to, linkbio.to, agentlink.to, myapp.to and many more.
When you combine a domain with a custom ID, you get a custom URL.
An example would be: digitalguide.to/DowntownDesMoines
App IDs can follow the domain as the "path" or preceed the domain as a "subdomain."
- ID as path = eguide.to/example-id
- ID as subdomain = example-id.eguide.to
"eguide.to/example-id" and "example-id.eguide.to" are differnet URLs and may coexist as different apps, even though they use the same appID and domain.
Notes:
- IDs are case-sensitive so "example-id-1" and "Example-ID-1" are different IDs
- Subdomains may not use capital letters, so IDs that use CAPS may only be pathnames.
